Our Story
How Nu Life Healthcare began
Nu Life Healthcare was founded by health and life insurance broker Martin Knustgraichen after years of watching good people end up in the wrong plan — not because they made a bad choice, but because nobody took the time to explain their real options.
Martin built the brokerage around a different idea: be a Medicare expert first and an advocate always. Independent from any single carrier, he could finally sit on the same side of the table as his clients, compare plans honestly, and recommend what actually fit each person's doctors, prescriptions and budget.
Today that approach is carried out by a full team of licensed, caring agents that clients rave about by name in their reviews. Callie, Derek, Christopher, Ian, Hannah and Tom each bring the same patience and plain-English honesty to every conversation — whether it's a first Medicare enrollment or an annual check-in years later.

Independent does not mean every plan is available through Nu Life. It means Nu Life represents multiple organizations rather than a single carrier. We do not offer every plan available in every area. You can contact Medicare.gov, 1-800-MEDICARE, or your local State Health Insurance Program (SHIP) for information on all of your options.
How Nu Life Is Paid
Guidance is provided at no cost to you. If you choose to enroll in a plan through Nu Life, the insurance carrier may pay the agency a commission. That commission does not change your premium.
